Known Customer-Impacting Issues with Switchvox

These are issues that impact multiple customers and either do not have a known workaround or require help from Technical Support. If you have reported an issue but you do not not see it here, please rest assured that we are tracking, investigating, and resolving your issue as appropriate.

If you are experiencing an issue that is not listed here, it's possible that the issue is fixed in a new version of Switchvox. Please refer to the Switchvox Release Notes for a list of issues resolved in each update.

Queue reports show extensions logged in for 29 hours in 1 day

Under certain circumstances,  certain queue members are being reported as having login times over 24 hours for a report spanning 1 day.  The problem is being investigated.  We will update again once we have more information on the cause and the version number which will include the fix.    

 

 


Caller ID is prepended with zeros over PRI after 5.5 version

Affects:

SMB 5.5.x

Caller ID is being padded with zeros is expected behavior.   When outbound calls are processed, Switchvox will first check caller ID rules for the extension.  Then Switchvox will check for a caller ID rules for the provider.  If there are no cid rule in either case, Switchvox will pad the caller id number with zeroes until there are valid number of digits.

 

 


Fax printer set up on new OSX v10.9 (Mavericks) produces blank pages

After updating to OSX version to 10.9 Mavericks, fax printer is now sending blank pages to drafts folder.  A solution is being investigated.   The problem should be fixed in an upcoming release.

 

 


Turning off permissions to send callers to VM and to ignore calls are not working

Affects:

SMB 5.7.3

Turning off permissions to send callers to voicemail and to ignore calls are not working under certain cirmcumstances.  The behavior appears to affect Digium phones only.  The problem is currently investigated and should be fixed in the near future.  

 

 


Unable to disable Line Keys for Rapid Dial on Digium Phone

Affects:

SMB 5.8.3

Phonebook contacts will not move off the line keys when disabling 'Enable Line Keys for Rapid Dial'.  The problem has been fixed in an upcoming release.

 

Fixed in Switchvox SMB version 5.8.5
